Day two we despatched our tourist clothing to Santiago de Compostela for collection after our epic trek. Then we walked to find the train station for tomorrow. I took the navigational lead and managed to take us in the opposite direction to that intended. Nice one David! But it actually worked to our advantage since we stumbled upon a world famous cathedral which looked to be most suitable for the Adams family. The Sagrada Familia! Don’t want to be disrespectful but it looked like something designed under the influence of psychedelic something. I managed to injure my right calf muscle so we took the hop on/off bus to see the rest of the city. Very worthwhile. A cold snap came suddenly and we went from comfortable travel to cold, bleak and windy. So we did what any good traveler would do, went to a bar, had sandwiches and Irish coffee. It was warm again. Another early night in our tiny room, listening to the incessant sound of constant gurgling drains and men talking loudly around 1am. Paper thin walls!
